Training

The Running Adventures training camp is an intense week of training. Expect to run twice a day, every day of the camp, accumulating a toal of 40-80 miles. In between the runs, you will experience the adventure aspect of the camp. Hiking, rafting, biking, rock climbing, and sea kayaking are all adventures that have been done in past camps. In order to be considered for the trip, you must meet minimum weekly running mileage goals prior to attending camp. After finishing a healthy track season, you must meet the following weekly mileage requirements:

Travel Information

All runners must arrive in Seattle between 10 am and noon on Monday, July 4th and depart between 3 pm and 8 pm on Monday, July 11th. There will be an additional camp cost for arriving earlier or staying later and there may not be any coach's supervision during this time. Please do not purchase an airline ticket before being accepted to the camp.

 

During the week, the team will travel in mini-vans spending each night at a new campground. On Sunday, July 10th the team will stay in a hotel in Seattle.

 

 

Camp Cost

$575 which includes all transportation (except airfare), food, lodging and adventures during the week. A $100 deposit is required by May 1st and the remaining $475 is required by July 1st.
