Camp Philosophy

Based in Fairbanks, Alaska, Running Adventures is a unique training camp for runners aged 14-18 years of age. It combinines the thrill of running in spectacular locations with instruction on the fundamentals of training for long-term running success. From developing a season training plan, to injury prevention and treatment, Running Adventures will help every athlete focus on their future goals and provide them with the tools to reach their peak performance.

The primary emphasis of the camp is to challenge each participant to train intelligently and become more accountable for every component of a sound training plan. By immersing participants in an atmosphere devoted to quality training, Running Adventures sets the standard for preparing athletes for the upcoming cross country season and beyond.

2011 Camp

The 2011 Running Adventures camp will take place from July 4th to the 11th in northern Washington. The trip will start and end in Seattle, Washington, while exploring the north Cascade mountains for the week.
